吉噶康楚仁波切改變業力的方法是透過培養堅定菩提心來面對我們的無明

 

我們的境況都不錯。我們經歷著善業的果報。但在很多面,我們因此覺得自己業力無關,或者不能接受業力的概念。我們想要將自己鎖在保險箱中。由於我們生活在資訊和科學的時代,所以了解如何預防很多疾病。我們同時也認識很多疾病,並因此帶來大量的恐懼。我們有可能生病或者死亡。而我們對於這樣的想法有著強烈的執

We are in a privileged      position. We are experiencing the fruits of good karma. But in many ways, because of this, we feel as if we are free of karma or it’s as if we cannot accept the notion of karma. We want to lock ourselves in a safety box. Because we live in the information age and scientific age we know how to prevent many diseases. But we also know about so many diseases and it creates a lot of fear. We could be sick or dying. There is a strong preoccupation with such thoughts.

 

對自己的健康有這麼多的知識,並沒有讓我們接受無常的存在,反而是斥它。想到業力時,時常我們感到不舒服或者罪惡。但這其實不是因為我們曾做了什麼不好的事。

Knowing so much about our health is not acknowledging our impermanence but rejecting it. When we think about karma we often feel uncomfortable or guilty. But it’s not really as if we did something wrong.

 

業力從無明中獲得動力,而無明與個人無關。換句話說,即使我們不曾刻意創造業力,它也會無明驅策而發揮作用改變業力的方法,是透過培養堅定的菩提心來面對我們的無明。

Karma gets its momentum from ignorance and ignorance is impersonal - in other words, even if we did not create karma intentionally, it functions fueled by ignorance. How to change our karma is to relate to our ignorance by firmly cultivating Bodhicitta.
