This is a kutsab terma.... a representative of Guru Rinpoche. This statue emerged miraculously while Guru rinpoche was doing a Drupchen. He gave it to Khandro Yeshe Tsogyal. She kept it with her for her whole life and finally hid it in ter with a prophecy for a future terton. Terton Chogyur Lingpa took out this terma from its hiding and hence it has been a great source of blessing to beings. Just seeing it once is said to be equal to seeing Guru rinpoche himself. Recieving its blessing again today on Guru Rinpoche day, and seeing something that came directly from him!!!
