Dudjom Rinpoche

The greatest masters of our time don’t necessarily look particularly impressive. Take, for example, Kyabjé Dudjom Rinpoche. At first glance, the photos we have of him show quite an ordinary looking person. Some lamas even used to call him the ‘Big Brother’ simply because he looked so unremarkable. Yet, a closer look reveals extraordinary depths that are entirely unique to Kyabjé Rinpoche, and to which no other master even came close.

These are not the words of an adoring grandson—I still find it hard to grasp the fact that I am even related to this astonishing master—but of a devoted student. I think of him as one of my principal teachers and without doubt one of the very greatest masters of our time.

Therefore, I pray that the ostensibly ordinary yet truly profound legacy of Kyabjé Dudjom Rinpoche will endure and continue always to benefit the countless sentient beings of this world.

敦珠仁波切

當今的時代中最偉大的上師，其外貌並不必然特別令人印象深刻。例如怙主敦珠仁波切。初次乍看我們所拍的照片，會覺得仁波切的長相十分平凡；有些喇嘛甚至常稱他為「老哥」，就因為他樣貌並不起眼。然而，若能仔細觀看，這看似平凡的長相中，卻顯出非凡的深度，這是怙主仁波切所專屬、而其他上師甚至都沾不上邊的。

會這樣說，並非出於一位仰慕他的孫子──我依然難以相信我竟然能和這位驚人的大師有所關聯，因此我是以虔敬弟子的角度來說。我視他為我主要的上師之一，也認為敦珠法王乃是當今時代最偉大的上師之一。

因此，我祈願怙主敦珠仁波切這看似平凡但實為深奧的傳奇能夠長久延續，恆時利益世間的無量有情眾生。
