親愛的台灣法友們,
I am so happy to announce that the filming phase of the project's production is now complete! Garchen Rinpoche's holy activities and teachings have now been documented all around the world in 14 countries.
本人很高興在此向大家宣部，(噶千仁波切紀錄片的) 拍攝部分已結束，噶千仁波切在全球14個國家的佛行事業與法教的記錄工作已告完成。
I recently returned from my last filming trip in Tibet. It was amazing to film where Garchen Rinpoche was born and spent the majority of his life. There were so many Tibetans from his life that shared inspiring stories about Rinpoche. Everyone misses him terribly and many tears were shed recollecting his kindness and extraordinary qualities. I met with people in remote locations and visited places that are not readily accessible; consequently the footage collected is truly special and powerful.
最近我深入西藏做最後的拍攝，採訪了 噶千仁波切的出生地以及他生命中度過大部分時間的地方，當地藏民們和我分享有關於仁波切的許多感人軼事，每個人都表達對仁波切深深的思念之情，回想起他的慈悲和大菩薩的特質時都忍不住落下淚來。我拜訪了偏遠地區的村民並深入交通不便的山區，汲取到十分珍貴與震撼人心的畫面。
The trip was successful thanks to Garchen Rinpoche's prayers and to all of our hosts in Tibet. I would especially like to thank my translator, Tracy Howard, travel companion/helper, Carol Bailey, and our driver, Garchen Rinpoche's nephew - Dorje Dundel, for all of their hard work and help.
由於 噶千仁波切的祝禱以及在藏地招待我們的鄉民們，這趟旅行收穫豐富。特別感謝翻譯師崔西豪爾的陪伴和協助、卡蘿貝利、我們的司機－噶千仁波切的姪子－多傑敦德，感謝他們的辛勞與協助。
The fundraising efforts for the project continue to progress. We are well over the half way mark of our fundraising goal. A heartfelt thank you to all of you, around the world, who have contributed to this project. Most recently I would like to especially thank three of Rinpoche's students in Asia for their hard work in raising funds. I call them my Asian Taras and, in the last two months, they have helped raise over $45,000 USD!!!
募款方面的努力也有進展，目前我們已募得超過一半的所需資金，我衷心感謝全世界各地的每一位捐款人和貢獻者，特別感謝 噶千仁波切在亞洲的三位學生最近在亞洲地區所做的募款努力，我稱他們是我的亞洲度母，在過去兩個月他們募得了4萬5千美元！！！
The next phase of the project is to edit all the footage into a feature length documentary, complete with special bonus features. Some of the bonus features will consist of Garchen Rinpoche's interview on his life story, Gar Monastery, extended footage of Lapchi, a holy place where Milarepa meditated and more. Compiling the archival teachings will start after the documentary is complete.
下一階段是要運用所有畫面剪接成完整長度的記錄片，並附上特別片段，使紀錄片更趨完整。特別片段將包括噶千仁波切現身說法談他的人生故事、噶爾寺、尊者 密勒日巴閉關的拉企雪山，還有更多。待記錄片剪接完成後，才會開始匯整教法結集的部分。
