傑尊瑪丹津·葩默:對於無生覺性、心性、佛性的體驗,正是那種分離感的消融

 

The sense of us being very separate - I have ‘my’ consciousness or ‘my’ Buddha nature, and you have your ‘own’ Buddha nature, and they are all separate little Buddha natures - is due to our deluded conceptual thinking mind, our duality. That is the basis of our ignorance, that we do experience ourselves as separate entities, like little globules in the ocean.

 

我們之所以感覺到相當分離——我有「我」的心識或「我的」佛性,你有你「自己」的佛性,而且它們都是不同的小佛性——是由於我們迷妄的分別心,也就是我們的二元。那便是我們無明的基礎,而我們確實經驗到自身是分離的主體,如同海洋中的小水珠。

 

The experience of our unborn awareness, the Nature of the Mind, the Buddha nature, is exactly that sense of separation dissolves. That’s why it is called non-dualistic. Because there is no subject - ‘me’ and object - ‘others’, just a sense of vast open awareness, which is it is compared to space or sky, because you can get space and put it in little bottles, saying this is individual space, but the fact is that inner space and the outer space are not really separate.

 

對於我們無生覺性、心性、佛性的體驗,正是那種分離感的消融。這也是為什麼它稱為非二元。因為沒有主體——我,也沒有客體——他人,單純是一種廣大、開敞的覺性;而之所以用虛空或天空作為比擬,是因為你可以將虛空放進小瓶子中,並說這是獨立空間,但其實內部空間和外部空間並非真的分離。
