佛無可迴避。

佛無所不在。

證悟的可能性處處皆是。

不管明天是否結婚，

不管明天是否往生，

不管你有什麼感覺，

那種熟悉的清醒品德，隨時隨地都在。

由此角度來看，

所有發生的事，

無論視為崇高或荒謬皆然，

全都是佛的足跡。

我們一切作為，舉凡呼吸、放屁，

受到蚊子叮咬，

對現實帶有奇思妙想，

腦洞大開，沖個馬桶——

所有發生的事，皆為佛陀在此現象世界中所留下的一個足跡。

Buddha can’t be avoided.

Buddha is everywhere.

Enlightenment possibilities are all over the place.

Whether you’re going to get married tomorrow,

whether you’re going to die tomorrow,

whatever you may feel,

that familiar awake quality is everywhere, all the time.

From this point of view,

everything is a footprint of Buddha,

anything that goes on,

whether we regard it as sublime or ridiculous.

Everything we do—breathing, farting,

getting mosquito bites,

having fantastic ideas about reality,

thinking clever thoughts, flushing the toilet—

whatever occurs is a footprint of Buddha in the phenomenal world.
