吉噶康楚仁波切:認出有苦,發現其因,並應用止滅之道 

 

就像把冷水加入沸水中使之冷卻一樣,修持本身和對修持日益深入的意樂,能平息我們的不安全感,並安撫伴隨那些不安全感的感受。這就是修持的成果:苦的止滅。其後,若有某個狀況引發不安全感,我們便可單純保持平靜,成為「誰都不是」。這就是我們應用佛法的方法:認出有苦,發現其因,並應用止滅之道。

 

Like adding cold water to boiling water cools it down, practice and increasingly deep interest in practice pacifies our insecurities and calms the feelings that go with them. This is the fruit of practice: the cessation of suffering. Then, when a situation triggers insecurity, we can just be quiet, be “nobody.” This is how we apply the dharma: we identify the suffering, discover its cause and apply the path of cessation.
