敦珠林巴：本初之基一直都在

本初之基一直都在，但有情眾生用他們的二元執取而加以限制，使得自己把它感受成堅實、牢固的外在事物。

這就好比流動的水，在寒風中結凍成冰。正由於對主體與客體的二元執取，才使得本然解脫的本初之基凝固，而顯現為事物。

The primordial ground is always present, but sentient beings constrict it by their dualistic grasping, causing them to experience it as something that is external, firm, and solid. 

This is like water in its fluid state, that becomes frozen in a cold wind. It is due to dualistic grasping onto subjects and objects that this primordial ground, which is always naturally free, becomes frozen into the appearances of things.
