Introduction 0:00 For the path of 0:02 liberation 0:04 teaching what we call, 0:09 introduction uh or sometime what we call 0:12 pointing 0:17 Out, teachings pointing out, why we call pointing 0:21 out 0:23 eventually we need to 0:27 Experience, we 0:30 cannot always relying on the 0:34 logic 0:36 or 0:38 uh 0:41 Reasoning, so learning through 0:45 Reasoning, 0:46 logic, it means you're not directly 0:52 experiencing, for 0:55 example when 0:57 you see smoke 1:01 coming out 1:03 of 1:05 forest, that 1:10 means what is there and you 1:14 are 1:15 judging maybe there's 1:19 fire, why there's a 1:22 fire because of 1:24 smoke, right? That means you are not 1:28 seeing the fire 1:31 then you need to use 1:34 reasoning, the indication, the reason is 1:37 the 1:40 smoke, and for 1:44 that then you cannot really 1:48 pinpoint this is fire because you cannot 1:51 see 1:52 fire but let's 1:55 say if you have like this diamond 2:00 this is very expensive diamond you 2:02 know the world biggest 2:05 diamond no no it's Crystal Crystal not 2:08 Diamond so diamond is in your 2:11 hand you're seeing the 2:15 diamond 2:17 then what we have to do, we don't need to 2:20 rely on the reasoning, indication, signs 2:24 all this, just pointing out, this is 2:27 diamond, right? somebody needs to point 2:31 out 2:33 so the nature of 2:37 mind is with us all the 2:39 time and that nature of mind is totally 2:45 Beyond 2:47 of 2:49 Concepts 2:50 Beyond subject and object and of course 2:55 Beyond 2:57 suffering beyond Karma 3:01 Beyond cause and 3:03 condition Beyond Time and 3:09 Matter. but the problem 3:11 is because of Beyond 3:14 concept it’s difficult to 3:17 Find. But there's one good 3:20 news should I tell you the good 3:23 News? How many of you want to know the 3:26 good news raise your hand 3:29 so good news 3:31 is you are 3:34 experiencing nature of mind all the 3:39 times so that's good news 3:43 Right? always there when you're thinking 3:47 you're thinking within the nature of mind 3:50 when you're feeling you're feeling 3:53 within the nature of 3:54 mind so you are experiencing that 3:58 nature of mind 4:01 but the issue 4:03 is whether we recognize or not so that 4:07 is the issue so whole this teaching is 4:10 pointing out meaning to 4:14 recognize there's no 4:16 issue whether you have or not, you have 4:19 all the 4:21 time but you need to 4:24 Recognize. Remember 4:27 about my expensive watch 4:31 Example? how many of you remember? Raise 4:33 your 4:35 Hand. so if you have the best watch in 4:39 the 4:40 World, if you not recognize your own watch, 4:43 watch cannot tell your time, isn't 4:47 It? so same thing this wonderful 4:50 nature the nature of our own mind with 4:55 us all the 4:56 time but no benefit 4:59 sorry to tell you the bad 5:02 News. Nature of mind 5:06 is awake, pure, 5:10 Beyond ,is same as the mind of all the 5:14 Buddhas. But no 5:15 [Laughter] 5:18 Benefit. why no benefit? we are not 5:22 Recognize. so whole this teaching is what 5:25 we call pointing out, so step by step 5:28 practice 5:30 to recognize nature of 5:33 Mind. and for that pointing out teaching 5:37 there are four 5:39 steps four steps. so first what we 5:43 call all phenomena are come from 5:48 Mind, 5:50 or another way to say is mind create the 5:56 reality, which one you like, 6:00 which translation you 6:02 like, mind create the reality, raise your 6:07 hand or all phenomena come from 6:11 mind, you raise hand for 6:16 both okay, I think you understand 6:20 second what we call mind is emptiness 6:25 second 6:27 introduction, third 6:30 third introduction is Emptiness is 6:34 spontaneous 6:36 present. Emptiness is spontaneous present 6:40 number 6:41 three, last 6:44 is spontaneous present 6:48 is 6:52 liberated, self-liberated self- 6:57 liberated so there are four. 7:00 and each one is leveled, so path of 7:05 Liberation 7:06 one, mind create the reality. Path of 7:10 Liberation two, mind is 7:14 emptiness, path of Liberation three 7:16 emptiness is spontaneous present, path of 7:20 Liberation four spontaneous present is 7:23 self 7:25 liberated and path of Liberation level 7:28 five, the nature of 7:31 mind together with the developmental 7:35 stage which is 7:37 White Tara, so there’re 7:40 five different teachings |
關於解脫道的教導,就是對於心性的引介或直指。 這個教導為什麼稱為直指心性呢? 因為最終我們必須要親自體驗 不能總是依賴邏輯、推理 透過推理、邏輯來學習,意謂著你並非直接體驗。 舉例來說 在你看見森林冒出煙的時候 就表示那裡有什麼
為何有火,是因為有煙,對吧 這也表示你並沒有看到火 而是運用推理、跡象 理由是因為有煙 所以你不能直接指出那兒有火 因為你沒有看到火 但如果你手上有一顆鑽石, 非常昂貴的鑽石, 世界上最大的一顆。 不是啦,這其實只是水晶,不是鑽石 鑽石在你手上 你眼睛看到鑽石 這是還需要做什麼嗎 我們不需要依賴推理、跡象或徵兆等, 就可以直接指出:這是鑽石。對吧 需要有人直接指出 同樣的,自心本性恆時與我們同在。 而自心本性完全超越分別概念 超越主體和客體(能所二元) 當然也超越痛苦 超越業 超越因和緣 超越時間與物質 但問題是, 因為它超越分別概念, 所以很難找到。 但有個好消息 我應該告訴大家這個好消息嗎 想知道的人請舉手。 好消息就是:我們一直都在經驗著自心本性 這是好消息,對吧 它總是在那裡。 思考的時候 你是在心性中思考。 感受的時候 你是在心性中感受。 所以我們一直都在經驗著心性 但問題在於我們能否認出 這就是問題所在 而整個教導就是要直指心性,意思是去認出心性。 問題不在於你是否擁有心性 你一直都擁有心性, 你只是需要認出它 記得我之前講過關於昂貴手錶的例子嗎? 記得的人請舉手。 如果你有世界上最好的手錶, 但若你沒有認出你的手錶 那個手錶就無法為你報時,對吧 同樣的,這個美好的自性、我們的自心本性, 儘管一直與我們同在,卻沒有帶來絲毫利益 很抱歉告訴大家這個壞消息。 自心本性是覺醒、清淨、超越一切的, 與諸佛的心是相同的 但它卻沒有帶來絲毫利益, 毫無利益的原因,在於我們沒有認出。 所以整個教導就是我們所稱的直指心性, 透過按部就班的修持去認出心性。 至於直指教導的內容 則有四個步驟: 第一個稱為「一切顯相是心」(萬法由心來) 或者稱為「由心創造現實」, 大家喜歡哪種說法 喜歡哪種翻譯 喜歡「由心創造現實」的請舉手 還是「一切顯相是心」 結果你們兩項都舉手了。 好的,我相信你們都懂了。 第二個步驟稱為「心是空性」,這是第二種引介; 第三種引介是「空性即任運」(空性乃任運而在); 「空性即任運」,這是第三個。 最後一個是「任運即解脫」(任運而在即自解脫),自解脫的。 共有這四個步驟。 每個步驟都有次第。
解脫道一階為「一切顯相是心」、
解脫道二階為「心是空性」、
解脫道三階為「空性即任運」、
解脫道四階為「任運即解脫」
解脫道五階為心性與生起次第一起,也就是白度母的修持。
所以有這五種不同的教導。 |
