南給達瓦仁波切：在了悟自心之前，必須全心全意地去愛
你也許坐著祈願好幾小時，
你也許參與閉關、教導或灌頂。
但若你把心封閉起來，
即使只是拒絕以慈愛對待某一位眾生，
法道便依然無法完整。
切莫忽視這個起點——
也就是培養無量慈的
這種柔和且往往綁手綁腳的作為。
它並非次要的階段，
而是讓所有真實了悟
得以安住的根基。
在了悟自心之前，
必須全心全意地去愛。

You may sit in prayers for hours,
You may partake in retreats, teachings or empowermens.
But if your heart closes,
If love is withheld from just a single being,
The path remains incomplete.
Do not overlook the beginning—
The soft, often inconvenient work
Of cultivating boundless love.
This is not a lesser stage.
It is the ground upon which
All true realization rests.
Before the mind can be realized,
The heart must Love in all its entirety.
