0:01-0:07

Everybody is a buddha, right now, right here. That means everybody has this wonderful nature —basic innate goodness.

 

0:09-0:15 But, but just believe that, it helps. It helps a lot.

 

0:16-0:35 Nowadays, there is a lot of scientific research about that.

Somebody, like in the university. The group of scientists go there. Then they, you know, they did randomly choose a group of students. You know.

 

0:38-0:42 They kind of asked them a lot of questions so looked like they are examining, checking, but actually just randomly choose a group of students.

 

0:43-0:54 and tell them, “You are genius. We tested, we examined everything, and we discovered that you are really wonderful students.” And they left.

 

0:56-1:01 And after few months later, they came back. They become like geniuses.

1:01-1:10 So, that‘s what we call the “view”. So, in Vajrayana, the view is the pure perception — that everybody has this basic innate goodness.

 1:11-1:19 And If we begin to discuss that, begin to understand that, begin to believe that, they really benefit. Of course.

 

1:21-1:28 But then, there’s a limitation. Just believe, there’s a limitation. Then we have practice.

 

1:29-1:32 So how to practice now? One of the important practices is

 

1:34-1:46 what we call “guru yoga,” The principle of guru. So, normally, it’s very difficult to understand this wonderful quality within yourself.

 1:49-1:56 Because what we called, we have this obscuration. Sometimes we call “buddha nature blockers.”

 2:00-2:10 It is like what we called putting self down, meaning — “I am no good. I am useless. I am not worthy.” All these things.

 

2:10-2:22 Or others are no good. Others are not worthy. Others are useless.” Something like that, putting self down. So, these are the what we called the one of the obscurations

 — 2:22-2:26 though that obscuration is coming from the light.

If we recognize the essence of this obscuration, it has awareness, love and compassion, wisdom there.

2:34-2:42 Of course, at the beginning, we will not recognize that.

2:43-2:53 So, now. It’s easier to perceive these qualities with others. Like maybe with your grandpa, grandma, more easier than your parents, normally. Or your teacher. Your idol. Your superstar. All these things.

3:02-10 But in our practice, when you project this to your own teacher, it’s easy first.

3:09-3:23 We (are) inspired (by) the teacher. Normally, we think, “Oh, teacher knows everything.” Actually, teacher knows what they are teaching, that’s all.  But we think “Oh, they know more.” That’s good.

3:24-3:32 And then, not only that.

When you project this quality with the teacher, when you receive these teachings from the teacher, it really become powerful.

3:32-3:42 For example, if your friend telling you quit smoke, you know. 1,000 times. Maybe one day you met your superstar, you know.

3:46-3:55 and the superstar particularly asks you, “If you can, maybe quit your smoke” Maybe you may quit!

 

3:59-4:04 So, this why what we call that power of our own 3:32-3:42 inspiration is very very strong.

4:06-4:16 So, therefore, we project all these innate qualities with our own teacher first.

4:16-4:35 so what we call “guru yoga.” And this is also we are integrating with the imagination practice. Then imagine guru in front of us, and we try to understand that the guru has this awareness, love and compassion, wisdom. All these qualities are manifesting. And then

4:36-4:46 Normally, we don't imagine the physical form of the guru. What we called we imagine one of the buddha, that has many reasons.

4:46-4:55 Because, What we are perceiving physical forms has this imprint. What we call “karma.” Karma is imprint.

4:55-5:03 But when we change the shape, then that imprint cannot catch something alien, something new.

5:03-5:10 So we imagine something like alien, not the alien, real alien

but different, like buddha.

 

5:10-5:18 And the form is not solid existent, yet, you can imagine awareness, love and compassion, and wisdom with that image.

 5:21-5:30 Then next , what we call oh, actually, not just guru has these enlightened qualities, ME, student has these qualities. You know.

5:29-5:42 And actually the student is buddha, me also buddha. because by nature, What we called, there’s no difference between the buddha nature of the guru, and the student, and everybody.

5:43-5:54 So, actually, me, teacher is buddha, student also buddha, right now, right here, but we have not discovered that.

5:55-6:02 Then slowly, slowly, we say, “Oh, actually all beings has this wonderful nature. Everybody has this buddha nature.

 6:02-6:13 So, that means everybody is buddha by nature.” So when we come to that, then we finished the practice of pure perception. Everybody is buddha by nature.

6:16-6:24 So that’s became the guru yoga. So when we imagine the guru yoga in front, it is what we call “relative guru yoga.”

6:25-6:31 And then we understand you and all beings has this enlightened quality, and that is what we call “the absolute guru yoga.”

每個人都是佛,就在此時此地。

這意味著每個人都有著一種美好的本性,也就是本具(與生俱來)的本初善。

然後,他們隨機選了一群學生。

他們問了對方很多問題,貌似在作測驗與檢視。

但他們其實只是隨機選了一群學生罷了。

然後他們告訴對方:你是天才。我們測驗檢視了所有項目,發現你是很棒的學生。接著他們離開了

幾個月之後,科學家回來,發現那些學生真的變成像天才一樣。

這就是我們所說的「見地」。金剛乘的「見地」即是「清淨觀」,也就是人人皆有與生俱來的本初善。

當我們開始探討、了解、相信,確實能帶來利益這一點無庸置疑。

不過,這有個局限性,僅僅相信仍然有限。我們還必須練習。

現在,要如何練習呢?其中一個重要的練習

我們稱為「上師瑜伽」,也就是上師原則。通常,我們很難理解自己內在有著如此美妙的特質。

1:49-1:56

因為我們有所謂的「遮障」,有時也稱為「屏蔽佛性者」。

 2:00-2:10

這就像我們說的自我貶低。

例如我不夠好、我沒有用、我不值得,諸如此類。    

2:10-2:22

或是:別人一無是處、別人都不值得、別人沒有用,諸如此類。

這類看輕自身等等的態度,就是我們所說一種遮障。

2:22-2:26

但是,遮障是從光明而來的。若能認識到遮障的本質,會看到其中具有覺知、慈心悲心、智慧。

2:34-2:42

當然,在一開始,我們還無法認出來。

2:43-2:53

但,若要觀察別這些特質,就比較容易。

例如,觀察祖父母,往往觀察雙親來得容易。也可以觀察你的老師、偶像、明星。諸如此類。

3:02-10

不過,就我們的練習而言先將這個特質投射到老師身上。會比較簡單。

3:09-3:23

我們受到老師的啟發。我們一般會認為什麼都知道。事實上,老師只知道自己的教授內容。僅此而已。但我們會認為,他們知道的不只那些。很好。

3:24-3:32

不僅如此,當你這些質投射在老師身上並從他身上領受教法,真的會變得強而有力

 

3:32-3:42

,你的朋友你戒菸。講了一千次。或許天你遇見自己心目中的大明星

3:46-3:55

而這位大明星特問你如果可以試著戒菸吧。或許你就真的戒了

3:59-4:04

所以,這就是我們為何會說:由自身而來的激勵,其力量極為強大。

4:06-4:16

因此,我們會先將這些具的功德投射到我們的老師身上。

這就是我們「上師瑜

這也是融合的修持想像上師在我們面前,我們試著去了解,上師具有著覺知、慈心悲心、智慧。上師顯現出所有這些功德。

我們通常不會觀想上師的色身是想像一尊佛。其中有很多道理

 

4:46-4:55

因為,我們感知的色身形帶著印記。

我們稱之為「業」,業是一種印記。

4:55-5:03

但當我們改變觀想的形象,印記就無法執取,而會有外來的形象、嶄新的形象。

5:03-5:10

所以我們想像某個外來的形 我說的可不是外星人,而是截然不同的樣子,例如佛。

5:10-5:18

這樣,形象不再堅實,然而,可想像這個形象是具有覺知、慈心悲心、智慧。

5:21-5:30

接下來,並非只是上師具有這些證悟的功德

我,學生具有這些功德

5:29-5:42

事實上學生是佛,我也是佛。

因為就自性而言,上師、學生、所有人的佛性,並無差別。

5:43-5:54

所以,實際上。這位老師是佛,學生也是佛而且是此時此地。但我們尚未發現這一點

5:55-6:02

接下來,我們慢慢會認為:實際上,所有的眾生都具有這美好的性。每個生命都具有佛性」

6:02-6:13

所以這意味著每個人的自性皆為佛。當我們到達這個境界,我們淨觀修持圓滿了。

每個人自性皆為佛

6:16-6:24

所以,這就成為了上師瑜當我們想像上師在面前時,我們稱為「相對上師瑜

當我們明白一切眾生都具有這種悟的功德究竟的上師瑜
